Heineken Beverages Amplify Programme
Participation Terms and Conditions

BACKGROUND

The Amplify Programme is brought to you by Heineken Beverages. The Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between yourself and Heineken Beverages and governs your rights and obligations once you have registered on the Amplify Programme, as well as each time you access or use the Amplify website, any of the digital applications or platforms available to participants.

The Amplify Programme is owned and managed by Heineken Beverages, who are entitled to amend and update the rules, metrics, leaderboard points and spin allocations at any given time, based on engagement and data received, to ensure that the Programme remains free and fair to all participants.

PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION

In order to participate on the Programme, you are required to visit the Programme website at amplify.awards.co.za and register on the Programme. By registering you agree:

• that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions
• that your participation on the Programme is voluntary
• to the collection and sharing of your personal information (subject to clause 3) and that your consent is given voluntary
• By clicking ACCEPT, you acknowledge and express your voluntary and informed consent that your personal information may be processed in accordance with the Amplify Programme rules
• that your participation on the Programme is free of charge (no joining fee or membership fee is required)

If you are an outlet owner, you may register your management team on the Programme. In doing so, you as the outlet owner forfeits the claim to any prizes won by the management team and all prizes will be given to the management team.
Any fraudulent activity by a participant will lead to immediate removal from the Programme and such participant will forfeit all benefits to the Programme.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

By accessing the Amplify website, digital applications or platforms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, and that you consent to us collecting your Personal Information from you where lawful and reasonable, for compliance purposes as well as sharing the Personal Information with our Loyalty Programme Service Provider, in the ordinary course of running the Programme.
During registration we will collect the following personal information from you:
Owner details

• Language
• Outlet Owner/Manager
• First Name
• Surname
• Cell number
• Email
• ID / Passport number

Outlet details

• Landline
• Address
• Suburb
• City

Outlet Owners
As an Outlet Owner you confirm should you supply the Programme administrators personal information about or on behalf of another person (including, but not limited to account signatories, shareholders, principal executive officers, trustees and beneficiaries), you are authorised to supply the personal information and that you have consent on their behalf to the processing of such personal information.

Participants
You consent to Amplify processing your personal information in order for you:

• to register and participate on the Programme;
• to receive a system generated unique username and password for login purposes 
• to receive information regarding products and services to you and/or any other products and services which you may qualify for
• to carry out statistical and other analyses to identify potential markets and trends, evaluate and improve the business (this includes improving existing and developing new products and services)
• by sharing your personal information with our local third party service providers, they agree to our privacy policies should they need access to any personal information in carrying out their services i.e. courier services for delivery of prizes.

All personal information must be correct, relevant and appropriate and therefore it is the responsibility of each participant to inform the Programme Contact Centre on 0800 267 543 of any changes to your personal information.
Should you require to update your personal details including your delivery address, we will need you to provide us with a copy of your ID/Passport for us to make the relevant changes on your account.
You may not disclose your authentication information to any third party and must notify the Programme Contact Centre on 0800 267 543 immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account.
The Programme has elements of Gamification and you can earn badges, trophies, medals or random prizes as follows:

Badges are earned by completing tasks and/or activities as defined by the Programme. Badges do not carry a monetary value and are not transferable.
Trophies are earned by completing tasks and/or activities, as defined by the Programme. Trophies do not carry a monetary value and are not transferable.

Random prizes
The website will trigger random prizes from time to time. These prizes are triggered by means of an automated randomiser and therefore:

• No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered
• The prizes are not transferable
• Prizes are subject to availability and the Programme administrators reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value, without giving prior notice 
• The decision in respect of all matters relating to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into

CONDITIONS FOR WINNERS OF PRIZES

Winners names will be randomly selected using an automated randomiser authenticated by the appointed independent auditor of the Programme. Only those outlets deemed compliant by the Auditor in a specific month will be eligible for the prize draw for that month. Participants may not win a competition again, if they have won within the previous three months of winning.
All prizes have been pre-selected and are non-negotiable or transferable. The value of prizes will be determined by the Programme administrators and decisions in respect of all matters relating to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability. The Programme administrators reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving prior notice.
Provider prizes that include a television will only be dispatched to the Participant on receipt of a valid and paid-up TV license copy. The TV prize excludes installation, DSTV contract and/or TV license application.If required, you may contact the Programme Contact Centre on 0800 267 543 or scan and email a valid copy of the TV license and a copy of your ID document to info@amplify.awards.co.za.

CONDITIONS ON RECEIVING PRIZES

Steps to report faulty or damaged item/s:  

• Contact or email the Programme Contact Centre
• Inform the Consultant of the prize fault
• Proof of purchase will be required from the Supplier Department
• Obtain a reference number from the Contact Centre Consultant
• Proof of purchase will be provided to the customer
• The customer takes the item to the nearest supplier/repair centre
• Supplier/repair centre liaise directly with the customer until the query is resolved

CONDITIONS FOR TRAVEL WINNERS

Travel prizes to Domestic or/and International destinations

• A valid passport is compulsory for entry into the lucky draw for qualifying outlets
• All participants (and partners where applicable) will be required to submit copies of their South African ID documents as well as copies of their valid passports if they are selected as a prize winner
• If a winner is not in possession of a passport and is unable to provide a copy of a valid passport within 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited and afforded to the runner-up as the Department of Home Affairs no longer issue temporary passports for travel 
• The prize may include (but is not limited to) flights, accommodation, event tickets, and limited meal and beverage allowances
• The Programme including third-party Service Providers cannot be held responsible or liable for a Participant failing to complete all the necessary health, passport and visa requirements
• The Programme is not responsible for visa applications being declined by the Consulate for any reason
• Passports must be valid for another six months from the return date of travel. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure passports are valid
• The prize is only for participants and not partners (unless otherwise stipulated)
• If a participant is unable to travel, they may not select someone else to travel on their behalf and no compensation will be issued to him/her. A runner-up will be selected immediately
• A participant over 80 years of age will not qualify for medical cover
• Pregnant participants will only receive coverage for up to 26 weeks of pregnancy

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY

The Programme’s third-party service provider(s) and cooperating travel agents act as Programme agents and cannot be held responsible for any delays, inconveniences, losses or damages from any cause whatsoever.
The Programme agent(s) are committed to making alternative arrangements wherever possible in case of the above and therefore reserves the right to change or terminate the Programme at any time.

If an outlet loses its liquor licence, all participants associated with such outlet will be disqualified from the Programme.
Please note the following conditions for the Programme:

• The website rules will be deemed as the latest rules
• Winners will be contacted by the Programme Contact Centre
• Should the winner be uncontactable, the Contact Centre will endeavour to contact the winner via text message, voice message, and/or email
• The winner must respond to the Programme Contact Centre within 48 hours (2 working days), either telephonically, via email or SMS
• Failure to respond within the this period will result in the prize being forfeited and a runner up will be selected
• The Programme Contact Centre must receive any documents requested for the fulfilment of a prize within 48 hours (2 working days). Failure to comply could result in the prize being forfeited and a runner-up selected

PRIVACY POLICY

By agreeing to these Terms on our website or the application, you consent that we may process personal data that we collect from you in accordance with these Terms:

Heineken Beverages Limited and the programme organisers, Achievement Awards Group may use your personal data that you supply to us upon registration to the Programme (such as your name, address, contact details etc.), together with any other information relating to your transactions and participation on the Programme for the purposes of: (1) administering the Programme; (2) sending you news of our special events, offers, promotions either via email or SMS; (3) market research.
